View from the Top. Got this one because it was only $5/overnight (ok, I was out of movies from my rental service and needed a fix), and because Gwyneth Paltrow is one of my "She's not bad" actresses.

A small-town woman tries to achieve her goal of becoming a flight attendant.
It had promise, but the ending especially... wow, what a let down. I mean, sure this was better than Cat in the Hat, but at least that had an ending that wrapped everything up (and that at least didn't pretend to be a smart movie). Here they just changed everything for the final scene. It's almost like they chopped out several years. They have to have. It's just not possible otherwise.
However, this movie does have a kleptomaniac, and how can a movie that has one not be good? (Unfortunately this movie may have answered that one...)
