Something's Gotta Give (82)

Something's Gotta Give was better than I was expecting. Jack Nicholson generally only does movies I enjoy (Anger Management is the only one I own on DVD, but As Good as It Gets is probably closer in style to this one), and this was no exception.

Amazingly Keanu Reeves played a doctor - I wasn't actually aware he had the intelligence. He's not great, but in a minor character's role he doesn't get in the way. Understandable how the character could be attracted to Diane Keaton though.

They even featured a PowerBook (not the current range, I'd say most likely a TiBook), even if it was running OS9.

One thing that did irritate me was when Keaton & Nicholson used AIM to chat (you can tell, because it actually showed the standard "AOL/AIM will never ask your password..." message), was the use of txt speak. Keaton's character was supposedly a play write, and I'm quite sure that such a character would not write "How R U?". It just didn't feel, natural.
