Well, I enjoyed the return of the king. It's long, but then so were the other two, so there was no surprise there. Which of the three did I prefer? None above the others I have temporarily decided, perhaps because it is easier to think of them as a whole.
Highlights? Fire. I like fire.
Low points? Not enough fire. I like fire.
The battle scenes were somewhat more impressive than those found in the hobbit. Somewhat meaning a hell of a lot.
The paddio rating? In the 'would I tell you to see it' scale? 8/10 I'd say. On the 'would I see it again' scale? Perhaps 7/10. On the 'will I own it on DVD' scale? Somewhere around 9/10.
