Lean on Me (83)

The dedicated, but tyrannical, Joe Clark is appointed as principal of a decaying inner city school and he is determined to improve it.

The character actually reminds me of a real life principal, who has a rather similar problem with personnel management. I guess it's unfortunate that often the skills necessary to revive a school are not always equated with effetive people management.

This is not to say either of these principals did a less than great job - they both did.

(Despite only being 2 channels this was still a good watch on DVD.)
